Census 2020 | Count Me INdy

In a few months, the 2020 Census will be underway. This nationwide count provides vital data to help determine how to distribute $675 billion in federal funding. With an accurate count, there will be continued strong representation for county, state, federal and school board districts. The census also helps businesses project sales and attract employees. A fair count allows cities to plan for roads and public transit, grocery stores, hospitals, school class sizes, public works and quality of life in our neighborhoods. Decisions about Indy's future - and the dollars for it - come down to counting everyone, especially you. We need to get this right. At United Way of Central Indiana, we're doing our part with the help of Count Me INdy. Check out these frequently asked questions about the census so we can count you in this April.
