Honoring Community Leader Andre Lacy

United Way of Central Indiana is shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Andre Lacy, our long-time champion, community leader and dear friend. This is a tremendous loss for the Lacy family, our United Way family, and the entire central Indiana community. Andre was an ever-present force in our business sector and an ever-generous spirit in our philanthropic endeavors. Many organizations and individuals benefitted from Andre’s sharp business sense and honest analytical approach. Andre’s counsel was always sought, heard and appreciated. And, thanks to Andre and his late wife Julia’s significant support of United Way for decades, thousands of Hoosier families have been helped. Today, we pause to fondly remember one of our region’s greatest champions – Andre Lacy.
