Tocqueville October First Wednesday

  • Eddie Merlot's 3645 E 96th Street Indianapolis United States (map)

October First Wednesday with Lieutenant Governor’s New Chief of Staff

Join us on Oct. 12 at 11:30 a.m. for the Tocqueville Society’s First Wednesday at Eddie Merlot's on 96th Street.

Anne Valentine, former United Way of Central Indiana Vice President of Public Policy, is back to share with us some of the pressing issues impacting poverty in our region.

She will discuss potential legislation coming in the next session that could affect them, and how we can all join United Way in advocating for the legislation needed to ensure that we can reduce poverty, remove barriers for individuals and families, and ensure that every person in our community realizes their true value and purpose.

We look forward to seeing you in October!
