Hundreds of Volunteers Participating in United Way of Central Indiana’s Go ALL IN Day – Volunteer Opportunities Still Available

On September 9, hundreds of volunteers partnering with United Way and local nonprofits across UWCI’s region will join together for Go ALL IN Day, an organized day of volunteering and community service.

Those interested in volunteering can choose from a wide range of activities, from supporting food pantries, making care packages for military service members, distributing school supplies and more. A full list of opportunities can be found here.

Both individuals and groups are invited to participate.

This year, United Way of Central is hosting an activity to serve the 46% of seniors living in central Indiana are in or are one emergency away from poverty. Care kits will be compiled for homebound seniors with resources that they may not otherwise be able to afford, such as cleaning supplies, paper and hygiene products – all of which are not covered through the supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP).

There are several opportunities to help this cause.
