COLTS, UNITED WAY TO HOST BIG KICKOFF SEPT. 8 FOR FANS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS
Monument Circle event marks start of football and United Way of Central Indiana’s 100th Anniversary INDIANAPOLIS– On Friday, September 8 at 11 a.m., the Indianapolis Colts will team up with United Way of Central Indiana to host The BIG Kickoff event on Monument Circle and highlight United Way of Central Indiana’s 100th anniversary. For more information, fans can visit www.colts.com/kickoff. The free event will feature special guest emcee, IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and live music by The Doo. There will be opportunities to find out about volunteering at United Way and its agencies, free Colts posters, autographs from Colts Alumni players, interactive inflatables, visits from Colts Cheerleaders and Blue, as well as a chance to participate in a free yoga class lead by Indy Yoga Movement. The first 1,000 attendees will receive a free Colts flag. “There are very few people, businesses and organizations that make it to the centennial category, which is why we don’t take one moment – or one person – for granted,” said Ann Murtlow, president and CEO of United Way of Central Indiana. “Because of our donors, partner agencies, volunteers and advocates, United Way has stood the test of time and made an impact on millions of residents, families and children in our community.
