United Way of Central Indiana Names MeChelle Callen Chief Talent and Culture Officer

INDIANAPOLIS – United Way of Central Indiana has named MeChelle Callen to its executive leadership team as the organization’s chief talent and culture officer.
Callen, who most recently served as vice president of organizational development at FORUM Credit Union, is a SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified human resources professional with nearly three decades of human resource experience in nonprofit management, healthcare, commercial real estate, and financial services.
Callen was recently selected to serve on the University of Indianapolis’s Advisory Board for its Human Resource Development & Administration program, is a past board member of the Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana and is a past President of the Association for Talent Development – Central Indiana Chapter.
“I am delighted to be joining United Way of Central Indiana’s team,” said Callen. “I look forward to serving in this role, alongside my fellow teammates, to continue doing the work that makes Central Indiana a better place for all Hoosiers.”
United Way President and CEO Ann Murtlow looks forward to adding a leader with years of professional and community-centric experience to the growing United Way family.

Callen is an active member of the community through her service as a member of the NOW board of directors and a committee member for the Hendricks County Parks Foundation Gala. She also volunteers with the Hendricks County Alliance for Diversity, Dayspring, and Free Mom Hugs Indiana.
