Understanding the Roots of Racism: Career Building - Recap and Resources

Nearly 60 years have passed since the Civil Rights Act of 1964 made it illegal for employers to racially discriminate in the workplace. However, data clearly shows how racism continues to impact the career development and advancement for Black Americans in today’s workforce. Thank you for joining our panel of community leaders to discuss the intersections of personal and cultural identities with professional growth and career opportunities. Together we found out how Central Indiana employers are promoting real advances in diversity, equity and inclusion and address who carries the primary responsibility for making these changes.
