United Way of Central Indiana names Spirit United winners, top company investors, and exceptional individual supporters for 2020-2021

INDIANAPOLIS — Even with its in-person Annual Celebration paused for this year, United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI) remains committed to awarding the companies and individuals who have supported the organization and the Central Indiana community in exceptional ways the past 12 months. United Way will deliver awards personally to the Spirit United winners, the Exceptional Employee Coordinator, and the Exceptional Executives, and throughout the month of June, UWCI will promote additional organizations and people who have made a difference in the community.

“United Way’s corporate supporters and donors went above and beyond to lead their organizations in creative ways during a year of unprecedented challenge,” said Ann Murtlow, president and CEO of United Way of Central Indiana. “On behalf of our entire team, we cannot thank them enough for their generous spirit and thoughtful determination to help our community rebound and recover from the pandemic. We are proud to call them champions of United Way and celebrate their contributions all month long.”

Spirit United Winners
Spirit United is the most prestigious company award from United Way of Central Indiana. Created in 2007, Spirit United celebrates companies that have consistently supported, advocated for and generously donated to United Way. Winners are chosen by a task force that includes United Way leadership and previous Spirit United winners.
