It’s official. The 90s and 2000s are back.

From skinny brows to low rise jeans, nineties and noughties nostalgia is back with a vengeance. It’s not all dubious fashion trends though. The 90s and Y2K also gave us some of the finest hits in modern times.

This is your chance to break out your best renditions of Ja-Rule & Ashanti, DMX, Destiny’s Child, Pearl Jam, Celine Dion and Outkast by picking a song, grabbing a mic, and singing for ReadUP!

Care-oke is open to vocalists 21+ and features cash prizes for winners. We’ll have categories for best individual performance, best group performance, and best crowd peaser!

Mark your calendar now! After our celebrity judges select the top talent, 20 acts will perform live for a shot at the top prizes at the Vogue on November 15. 

Attendees are also encouraged to dress up in clothing reminiscent of this period. All proceeds raised during the evening will help us train new mentors, stock school libraries, purchase supplies, and deliver books to students for continued at-home reading with family and friends.
