Human-Centered Design with the Nonprofit Learning Center

A Conversation with Meg Liffick, CEO of SmallBox

Human-centered design is a powerful approach for understanding and solving complex problems. It uses methodical, empathetic processes to guide you and your team to innovative and meaningful solutions.

Closing out the last of the April sessions, we are pleased to hear from the CEO of SmallBox, Meg Liffick. Meg’s strategic mind, clear communication, and enthusiastic spirit inspire others to distinctly see possibilities for what’s ahead.

In this 90-minute session, we will discuss the basics of human-centered design and how it can help your team work together–and alongside your audiences–toward generating new, imaginative solutions for mission delivery. We’ll then walk you through a customizable, human-centered design framework meant to help your organization reimagine elements of your work (programs, services, etc.) from the perspectives of your stakeholders and community. Using this powerful tool, you and your team will learn to quickly uncover insights and generate actionable, innovative plans and outcomes.

We look forward to hearing from Meg and we hope to see you all there, virtually!
