Recruitment & Retention with the Nonprofit Learning Center

A Conversation on Recruitment and Retention in the Workplace

In March 2022, results from a new Pew Research Center survey found that low pay, a lack of opportunities for advancement and feeling disrespected at work are the top reasons why Americans quit their jobs last year. Organizations in the human services sector are feeling the strain, especially team members who were already wearing multiple hats and organizations striving to meet increasing demands with limited staff.

This session features Mike Futch, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MJJ Recruiting. MJJ Recruiting is a leader in diversity recruiting, focused on building diverse and inclusive teams. Mike is an expert in recruiting and retaining talent and will share tips on building and accessing talent pipelines.

We will also hear from Anila Din, Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at United Way of Central Indiana. Anila has been working in human resources for over fifteen years and is passionate about and skilled in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programming.

We welcome you to bring any tips and tools that have supported your organization. We look forward to hearing from our speakers and hope to see you all there, virtually!
