The Power of Storytelling with the Nonprofit Learning Center

Every community-based organization has a story; but not every story is told in a memorable, compelling, or persuasive way. In this session, you'll learn the value of telling your story, why it matters and the role it plays in advocacy. You'll learn five simple, yet useful techniques for telling your story in a manner that is memorable and effective for engagement and impact.

For NLC's first session, we'll hear from guest speaker Sally Perkins. As a trainer and consultant, Sally Perkins helps clients discover, craft, and effectively tell their stories in ways that are engaging (orally and/or in writing) to their target audiences for the purposes of advocacy, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, marketing or conveying complex data. She also serves as a data insights storyteller at Authenticx, an Indianapolis company that studies call center conversations so businesses can hear the authentic voices of their customers.

We look forward to hearing from Sally and seeing you all there - virtually :)
